DUHOK - IRAQ ONCOLOGY HOSPITAL with 100 beds
Two different entrances were planned in the Hospital designed as monoblock by using land slope. Patient and visitor circulations were separated from each other by offering the hospital main entrance to the basement and by offering Polyclinic and Radiology entrances to the sub-ground floor. Patient bed blocks were analyzed on the 1st floor; these blocks were connected to each other via Chemotherapy, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine departments and vertical circulation components. Horizontal and vertical circulation components were planned in different zones as Patient, Personnel, Visitor, and Service. Iodine treatment rooms were projected in the first basement; patient circulation has been provided by a separate entrance and exit. Chemotherapy rooms were divided for women, men, and children; the connection of those rooms with both external and internal patients was maintained. DUHOK Oncology Hospital with 100 beds has been designed including medical instrument placements.
