Existing hospital that is in neighboring parcel of Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in Fatih District of Istanbul Province consists of the group of buildings whose seismic retrofit was performed and which were located as independent of each other. Land area is in the historical peninsula and has 30.000 m2 space. Altitude above the sea level is 20 m and Bosporus view can be easily seen. The chief goal of project fiction is to create a compact hospital and unite the existing patient bed block that is located as parallel to the sea with diagnosis, polyclinic and bed blocks newly offered by reorganizing this existing patient bed block based on 2013 Ministry of Health standards. Also, newly offered building blocks were planned as 7 floors that is the same storey height with existing hospital. Storeyed inner court - the street was offered between two blocks because of the insufficient land area; department entrances were ensured from different elevations and the 250-car indoor garage was located in the basement floors of this yard. The entrances for Nuclear Medicine and Physical Therapy were offered from the sub-ground floor; the entrance for Conference Room was offered from the ground floor; finally, the entrance from the 1sr floor was offered for Endoscopy, Chemotherapy and Oral and Dental Health units.
