The Edirne State Hospital has a total enclosed construction area of 66,500 m² and comprises a basement level, ground floor, and five upper floors. A total of 450 parking spaces are provided, including 300 indoor and 150 outdoor spaces. Hospital and polyclinic functions are organized on the upper levels, while the Emergency Department is located at ground level to provide direct and efficient access from the site.

The main entrance is emphasized by a generous platform that also functions as a canopy for the lower-ground level. The Diagnostic Block is positioned along the primary inpatient and outpatient circulation routes, between the Patient Ward and Polyclinic blocks, providing efficient connections between key hospital functions.

Patient rooms are located on the southwestern side of the building, corresponding to the lowest part of the site. Dayrooms are positioned at the entrance to each patient ward and designed to receive maximum natural daylight, creating comfortable spaces for patients and their relatives.

The main hospital entrance is further articulated by a large canopy, while the intensive circulation of the polyclinic areas is organized through galleries surrounding generous internal voids. At roof level, extended eaves developed in response to mechanical requirements define the upper edge of the building and complete its overall architectural composition.
