The 150-bed Private Hospital in İstanbul is designed as a monoblock structure on an 8,000 m² site. The patient ward block is oriented toward the west to benefit from views while receiving controlled natural light. The main entrance façade is defined by extensive glazing, creating a transparent and welcoming expression that reflects the building’s clear internal organization.

Located directly behind the entrance façade, the atrium forms the central spatial and architectural focus of the project. As the area with the highest concentration of patient and visitor circulation, it establishes the identity of the building through its scale, spatial orientation, and architectural character. The cafeteria, positioned near the entrance, creates a secondary focal point through its distinct geometry.

Outpatient, inpatient, visitor, staff, and service flows are differentiated through horizontal and vertical circulation systems and programmatic zoning, minimizing circulation conflicts throughout the hospital. A sense of belonging, privacy, and clear orientation are treated as key design considerations in both interior and exterior spaces.

Patient-oriented spaces, including examination rooms, patient bedrooms, and short-stay units, are designed to maximize access to natural daylight, supporting both spatial and psychological comfort.
