Hospital is located in the east side of the city of Dhi-Qar with 32.520sqm area and consists of two blocks as Diagnostics and Patient Rooms. Policlinics are planned on the ground and first floors of the Bed Blocks that each examination room is positioned to receive daylight. Diagnostics departments such as Radiology and Nuclear Medicine are located on the same level with the Policlinics to provide a direct outpatient circulation.

Emergency Service is positioned in the north part of the Diagnostics Block where it is directly connected with Operation Rooms, Intensive Care Units, Patient Rooms and Inpatient Circulation. Cafeteria is located on the entrance alley in order to be used by both Policlinics patients and Hospital entrance. Vertical and horizontal circulation elements as Patients, Visitors, Staff and Service are planned in different zones.
