DENIZLI STATE HOSPITAL
The 1,000-bed Denizli Integrated Health Campus comprises two buildings: the Main Hospital and the Technical Service Building (TSB). The campus is located on a 434,732 m² site. Designed with seismic isolation, the Main Hospital is organized around a central diagnostic block and two patient ward towers, each extending into four wings.
The Main Hospital accommodates four specialized hospitals: the General Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital, and Oncology Hospital. With an elevation difference of approximately 40 meters across the site, the building is designed in response to the challenging topography. Measures are incorporated to address the existing stream, while entrances are positioned at different elevations to take advantage of the natural slope.
The main entrance level provides access to the General Hospital and Women’s and Children’s Hospital polyclinics, together with a central circulation spine organized around a gallery. The Cardiovascular Surgery and Oncology polyclinic entrances are located at the upper level, while the Emergency Department is accessed from a separate elevation to isolate emergency circulation from the main hospital traffic.
Access and circulation are carefully organized to separate patients, visitors, and staff. Outpatient, inpatient, visitor, staff, and service flows are differentiated through horizontal and vertical circulation systems and programmatic zoning, minimizing circulation conflicts and supporting efficient movement throughout the hospital.
The Main Hospital has a total enclosed construction area of 281,800 m².
