KIYIKISLACIK HOUSING COMPLEX
The most significant design criteria for the building group consisting of 13 duo blocks (26 houses), planned on an area of 8400 m², are the scenery and privacy. While the building unit was being designed, large windows opening to the sea view in the northeast direction and the bay view in the northwest direction are among the main building blocks of the design. Because of the sloping field, the residence located on 2 different levels. The ground floor is the main entrance level and provides direct access to the living area. There is a side garden on the ground floor as well. The lower level provides a second living area with a front garden. In the settlement of the field, it is aimed that the building units orient to the landscape in a way that does not obstruct each other’s sceneries.
Private courtyards were created by the withdrawal of each independent section of the duo blocks and and privacy was also provided. A simple architectural design in harmony with its surroundings has been proposed, ensuring that each residence can benefit daylight and the view at the maximum level.
