The 1,180-bed Kocaeli Integrated Health Campus is located on a 368,668 m² site along the TEM Highway. The Main Hospital is organized around a central diagnostic block and two patient ward towers, each accommodating four inpatient units. The complex brings together the General Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Cardiovascular Hospital, and Oncology Hospital within the Main Hospital building.

The hospital is designed in response to the site’s topography, with entrances positioned at different levels to establish a clear hierarchy of access. The General Hospital and Women’s and Children’s Hospital polyclinic entrances are located at the main entrance level, while the Cardiovascular and Oncology polyclinic entrances are positioned at a higher level. The Emergency Department is accessed from a separate level, isolating emergency circulation from the main hospital traffic.

Circulation is carefully organized to separate patients, visitors, and staff and to minimize potential conflicts. Both horizontal and vertical circulation systems are planned in relation to the functional zoning of the hospital, providing distinct routes for different user groups and supporting clear and efficient movement throughout the complex.
