800 BED HEALTH CAMPUS

The 800-bed Integrated Health Campus is located along one of the city’s main avenues, with direct connections to the city center. The project site is situated near the airport and a lake to the west.

Together with the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the Education and Research Hospital, the project forms part of a larger urban healthcare campus. The Integrated Health Campus comprises four buildings: the General Hospital Polyclinic Block, the Main Hospital, the Technical Service Unit, and the High-Security Forensic Psychiatry Hospital. The Main Hospital also accommodates specialized units for Orthopedics and Neurology, Cardiovascular Care, and Oncology.

Extending along a north-south axis, the hospital is organized around a horizontal base containing the polyclinic, general hospital, and technical service functions, with the ward block positioned above the General Hospital. Roads divide the base into three programmatic zones, establishing a clear hierarchy of access and circulation. The Polyclinic Block, which receives the highest level of daytime circulation, is positioned at the far end of the complex.

The architectural language reflects the horizontal organization of the complex. Vertical elements break up the long façade lines, while a restrained use of color creates a clear and cohesive identity. This approach continues throughout the interiors, where material and color choices support orientation while creating a dynamic yet calm healthcare environment.

Designed with two basement levels and 14 above-ground floors, the Main Hospital has a total enclosed construction area of 208,126 m². The Integrated Health Campus has a total enclosed construction area of 241,100 m².
