GIRESUN STATE HOSPITAL
The 350-bed Giresun State Hospital is designed as a monoblock structure on a 72,000 m² site. The Diagnosis and Treatment Block is positioned between the three-story Polyclinic Block and the seven-story Patient Ward Block, establishing a clear functional organization within the hospital.
The Emergency Department is located at ground level and separated from the main hospital traffic, while maintaining direct vertical connections with the diagnosis and treatment departments to support efficient clinical operations.
Access and circulation are carefully organized to separate patients, visitors, and staff. Outpatient, inpatient, visitor, staff, and service flows are differentiated through horizontal and vertical circulation systems and programmatic zoning, minimizing circulation conflicts and supporting clear and efficient movement throughout the hospital.
